Steel fasteners are heat treated grade 5 bolts. A special bonding agent is used to ensure a rubber to metal bond. Rubber material is mixed to specific Durometer, hardness.

you get what you pay for

These mounts didn't last long. I bought these mounts for my 2002 mercury villager, and I don't know if these supposed to be lifetime, but the, mounts only lasted about a year. Then I had to replace them again. I am going on my third replacment. I don't know if it's the vehicle or the mounts, but I think I will go for higher priced ones this time.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
