Steel fasteners are heat treated grade 5 bolts. A special bonding agent is used to ensure a rubber to metal bond. Rubber material is mixed to specific Durometer, hardness.

Not commended.
I have been through 2 of these. The first one ripped in half after a few month's. The second replacement was rock hard and absorbed NO vibrations and transmitted them to the frame. Ended up returning.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
