Steel fasteners are heat treated grade 5 bolts. A special bonding agent is used to ensure a rubber to metal bond. Rubber material is mixed to specific Durometer, hardness.

I bought this engine mount for my 2003 Hyundai Elantra. It was a perfect match. My mechanic installed it and had some difficulty getting what was left of the old mount off of my car.
