Steel fasteners are heat treated grade 5 bolts. A special bonding agent is used to ensure a rubber to metal bond. Rubber material is mixed to specific Durometer, hardness.

it broke 2 months later but it fit perfectly
the aluminum body needs to be thicker or redesigned with a stronger material because 2 months after the mount was installed it cracked (i am a mechanic so it was installed correctly). on the other hand it fit perfectly and looks nice... hopefully the warranty will cover its failure.
