Mounts DO FIT my 68 f250 390
I am just letting people know that these mounts fit your 67-72 f100/f250 with 390 FE in a ford truck. The part numbers are 2289 and 2290.
Normal type and quality
This is the normal type and quality. There is a Left and Right part. The long part of the bracket goes to the rear of the vehicle. You must jack up the engine to insert these, and the best time is while lowering it into place after the transmision-to-engine bolts have been snugged up. The bump next to the stud should be in the lower part of the elongated slot. Ford FE 360-390 engines use these at least, and are the same for either one. The block is the same, and my have 352 on the casting. Early blocks take a different set of mounts. Replace these if over ten years old, soaked in oil, or have had rough use. It is cheap preventative maintenance. The lip(s) may look different thicknesses, have rubber on them, and they are normally very rough looking from rubber slop. No matter, they are hidden. Good search terms: A2290, engine, isolator, Left, Driver, Driver's-side .
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
