Steel fasteners are heat treated grade 5 bolts. A special bonding agent is used to ensure a rubber to metal bond. Rubber material is mixed to specific Durometer, hardness.

The fitment on one of the parts we purchased was off in the patter of the bolt holes and I had to redrill to make it fit, which should have not happened if their was any quality control in place. The job took an additional hour to remove, correct the issue and reinstall. The second part I just returned.
