It is a direct fit for 1986 Accord LXi. This is the second one I bought from Advance. Last one only lasted 4 years and needed to be replaced again. Installation is not difficult but required removal of front bumper. Once bumper is off, easy to replace pump at the left side. Make sure test pump function before putting bumper back (it is a two man's job, you can do it one person but needs to be creative). I am sure this will fit other Honda cars too but I'm real surprised that this part fits a car that old and its easy to find.
