ACI Windshield Washer Pump

I read reviews saying the seal that came with this part leaks and was not the same size as oem. Perhaps those reviews are old and improvements have been made. The seal that came with my pump fit better than OEM. Perhaps some people are installing the pump with the seal on it inside the resevoir causing it not to seat properly. You need to remove the seal from the pump then install it through the resevoir making sure it seats properly inside and out then put a small amount of dialectric grease for rubber on the middle part of the seal where the pump slides in to help with intalling it through the seal then push the pump through the seal. As the pump passes through the seal it will expand the seal slightly making a positive seal. It works fine for my truck. This review is dated July 2022

Like the headline says, it worked perfectly but the gasket did not fit. I drained the reservoir and I pulled the old one out with a little muscle. But when I used the gasket that came with the kit, it went in too easily and would move. Each time you moved it, it started to leak. I had to drain it again. That was frustrating! Used the old gasket and the pump went in tight. If it wasn't for the gasket, I'd give it 5 stars.
