ACI Windshield Washer Pump

Although the selector said "This part is an Exact fit for your 1993 Toyota Pickup DLX", and the photo looks similar, with the same electrical connector and same hose configuration, in fact it is about 1/4" longer and 1/4" bigger diameter than my original Toyota NipponDenso pump #85330-3310, with a smaller inlet and fatter grommet. I carved the reservoir outlet hole as much as I could to allow for the extra length, and used a heat gun to carefully spread the reservoir's retainer area to fit the fatter barrel, so it does now work, though installation wasn't as easy as it might've been and it still protrudes just a little. But then, my Toyota dealer wanted $77 for one that might've been a better fit (or maybe not) and this was less than half that.

This pump is functioning fine, however I am somewhat concerned about leaking since it is longer than the factory pump and therefore doesn't fit properly. The connections are exact fit, it just has to attach to the resevoir at an angle because of the longer size.

This pump is a perfect match for my 1993 Base model 2.4L 22RE Toyota pickup. The washer tank, washer pump and electrical connection are all original. ( 28 years old ) I know this because I bought the truck new. The new pump is and exact fit as advertised. The tank grommet took a little tap or two to get it seated into the tank (new grommet what do you expect) but the pump, outlet hose and electrical connections all snapped right into place. Works great, just like the original equipment should last another 28 years. I give this a 5 star raring.
