No wire splicing or adapting. It just pops in and electrical connector slips on. This is an exact fit for the 1997 Honda Civic LX. I'll bet it fits some other Hondas also. I had this delivered for under $20 by using the online discount code.

No indication of which wire was positive or negative. Pump previously changed did not have original plug in so I had to use the enclosed wires(a plus that they were included). Must place the pump in a tub and hook up to battery to determine proper polarity

Works fine at a fraction of dealer cost

Worked fine at a fraction of the dealer cost. The pump fit perfectly into the notch on the washer fluid reservoir. I had to use the included connection wires because the connector on the car was different than the connector on the pump. This worked fine, but I wonder why the included wires had two connectors instead of the right single connector for the pump.

The pump was installed in a 1995 Honda DelSol. Gaining access to the pump location took 30 minutes. Installing the pump literally took less than 1 minute.
