Saved a lot of money
Do it yourself and save money. I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee front washer pump replacement. The left front tire has to be removed along with at least loosening the inner fender liner/shield. The shield is held on be push in anchors and a couple speed nuts. I removed the ones toward the front and across the top of the liner and was able to bend it back far enough to access the pumps front and rear, the lower one is for the front and they are at the very front. Just pull the pumps out, have a bucket handy to catch whatever fluid there is in the washer tank. Disconnect the hose and wiring, attach the new wire harness to the oem wiring attach that to the pump along with the hose and your good to go. I left the large oem grommet in place and just shoved the pump back in. I checked to make sure it wasn't leaking. I them put the fender lining back in place along with the original push anchors and speed nuts. Put my tire back on. Total time about 45 minutes

Replacement Pump - OK
This is a "universal" replacement. I'm not sure why the front costs less - the pump is identical to the rear and also comes with an adapter but is less?
The pump works well, but doesn't seem to have the strength of the OEM pump. Reuse the OEM gasket if it isn't leaking (playing around trying to install the new gromet takes way too long)

Awesome! Works great.
Rear Caravan windshield fluid was not working. Isolated problem to failed factory pump. This replacement was under 15 dollars. Easy install, reuse oem grommet for leak free results. Shrink tube or electrical tape the connection and new wires to keep out debris, salt, water. Works great.

Perfect replacement part for my 1998 Jeep Cherokee. The new part comes with a new grommet to seal it in the washer reservoir and plenty of wire with an exact plug for the electrical connection. Of course, the washer is tucked up inside the fender, and you need to remove the wheel well to get at it from underneath. Get some new plastic push clips before tearing the wheel well apart so you can simply cut the heads off and use new ones for reassembly. I'm thrilled to have a windshield washer again and wish I hadn't put it off for so long!

Does not fit
I ordered this to replace my original pump that was leaking. When I received it I installed it and found that the male plug was different and would not fit my female hard wired plug. I tried to use the splice wire that came with it but my female plug on my truck and the male counter part were the exact same size so one would not slide into the other. As I live overseas it is not cost effective for me to pay to return the part.
