awesome direct fit. i bought this to replace the one in my sterling dump truck. Sterling took over ford commercial truck division so this pump was an exact fit.

Part # 173690 is not a direct fit.
Washer pump #173690 requires a connector for installation on a Ford Econoline 250 year 1999. For an exact fit use Part # 173686. This part # washer pump is identical to the Ford original equipment,is an exact fit,does not require a connector and works perfect. Thanks to cashier Shelby B at store # 02101 who after looking at the removed original inoperative pump noticed that part # 173686 pump on the store stock location looked identical and had a built in connector. Of course I purchased it. Good Job Shelby. Thanks for being alert.

This do not fit the Town Car, wrong part number1
This do not fit the Lincoln Town Car. 173686 is the correct part number for the Lincoln Town Car. This one needs a special connector, etc. I replaced it with the right part number and it needs no modification at all. Advance Auto, please update and correct your inventory parts number so consumers like us don't have to go through all the mumbo jumbo with the wrong parts.
