ACI Windshield Washer Pump

Look to see if the hard line for washer is cracked by the battery, my case, the corner of the battery, when it was put in damaged the line. It might not be the pump thats bad. #2 The new pumps discharge port may not be facing the way you need it to be, takes a little muscle but the base turns to aim the port in any direction. #3 THE MOST IMPORTANT!!!! When you put the bar over the battery back on, the hood release cable runs right by the end of the bar. It will get pinched and your hood release wont work. Make sure its out of the way. 2005 Chevy Silverado.

This ACI Washer Pump is listed as an "EXACT" fit for my 2006 Impala. However, after removing the existing pump I noticed the replacement pump is approximately 3/4 of an inch shorter. No way possible for this pump to snap into the reservoir the way the old pump did! It was very frustrating. You definitely need to purchase the Original Equipment Manufacturers pump!

This washer fluid pump is not listed as exact fit for 06 envoy xl slt why? Its a perfect fit.It is just a different color. I brought the old one with me to the store and even holding it next to the new one[they were exactly the same]the associate still doubted it would fit.It took me longer to convince the associate if would fit [perfectly!]than it took to remove the old one drive to the store, drive home install new one close hood wash hands open a beer go to my office and write this review.

If you washer pump motor goes bad, this is a quick and easy fix.

As with earlier comments, it's a made in China part that has the outlet hose on wrong side. (It is pointing toward the passenger side tire instead of the steering wheel). This causes a kink in the hose even if your type is long enough to reach around to it. It doesn't fit on a 1995 K2500 4x4 with a 7.4 liter V8.
