the right part the first time. very helpful. it even had directions for installing. Nice to see stuff manufactured right here at home. easy installation. i red the instruction right after i installed the pump. Highly recommend.

Has design issue with plastic cover
Like the other reviewers, I found that this pump will only work properly with the plastic cover removed. When installed the cover interferes with the internal parts and it sticks on or won't come on at all. I was able to fix this by reusing the cover from the old pump I had, which is deeper and does not interfere. So, only buy this if you have the deeper original plastic cover. This is a basic design problem and is inexcusable - it's like they never tested it. I would have returned it except that the one that the other local store had was even worse and didn't work at all. Hopefully something better will come along.

the problem another reviewer mentioned i have the same issue with, it won't turn off once it is on, i actually needed to unplug it completely to get it to stop, still need to put in the fix that that previous reviewer mentioned but shouldn't need to fix something new
