Socket is a nice fit and comes with extra long leads to splice into wiring, wiring crimps with shrink wrap ends, and new gasket to keep water out of the headlight assembly.

Easy lamp socket replacement
If your reading this it's probably because your original light socket has corroded or in many cases the bulb has gotten hot enough over time to either melt the plastic or make it very brittle and in my case the bulb was impossible to remove.
The kit comes with the socket as well as more than long enough wire leads as well as to very good quality heat shrinkable crimp connectors.
As another reviewer mentioned you might be able to avoid splicing the new wire in by using the original wires.
To use the original wires take a close look at the center of the socket assembly and on either side there is a small plastic tab on each side. Press those in and pull out the center socket where the bulb fits. This will allow you to then pull the wires out and use the original wires in the new assembly after you remove the wires from it.
Do the same thing with the new lamp assembly and discard the wires and you just slide the factory wires in thus skipping the splicing process all together.

Stick with OEM and you won't go wrong, just do a dry run before you permanently connect wires as they both come WHITE and you don't know
which is GROUND. Don't forget the diaelectric terminal grease!!! -R.S.
