I replaced the distributor cap on my fathers 1983 Oldsmobile Regency 98 with this AC Delco replacement. The old cap was original with 148k miles on it, and I wanted as close to OEM as possible, which is what you get with this. Installation didn't take too long, and when I was finished The engine fired right up. So far, it has started in the cold and damp winter mornings, so shell out the extra few dollars and buy what they used in Detroit.
