AC Delco Cap
Sonoma 4.3 V6, AC Delco cap. fit perfect, works great. Glad I replaced as heavy corrosion was on all terminals inside the cap. How it was still running is beyond me. Probably the original cap from 2003. Definitely take a silver sharpie or white pen and highlight all the numbers on the cap and the wires. Makes it so much easier to read and not get them mixed up as it is very awkward to remove the cap. Not sure why GM went to screws to hold cap vs, old style clips or L clamp. Caution they are NOT philips they are torx and 2 different sizes between cap and rotor. Have had bad experience with aftermarket caps and rotors so 'splurged' on OEM to make sure it fit/functioned properly. Came with new screws for cap with adhesive so they do not back out (as original).

Delco distributor cap
Construction is a little flimsy thin plastic with aluminum contacts. Needs to come with DIELECTRIC GREASE for ignition cable attachment. A vent for moisture would also be a nice addition along with brass contacts.

If you have a 4.3 vortec definately buy the ac delco cap and rotor! Aftermarket versions will let you down eventually.

Excellent product! Bought a used 1999 jimmy 4.3 in excellrnt shape. Guy decuded hr wasnt spending another dime on it after restoring and update frame and suspension bushings parts, exhaust, etc after he put on a non AC Delco distributor cap only to have it start misfiring and missing out. He was done with that Jimmy. I bought it for a great price then stuck a ACDelco OEM distributor cap on it and BOOM! it run like dream. Still is.
If your considering cheaper brands for your Jimmy/Blazer engine dont.The excellent price along with 25% discount for GM OEM parts was a hands down deal from Advanced Auto for me and my Jimmy.
