Specialized high temperature epoxy resists shock and vibration, while increasing thermal conductivity. These are direct high performance replacements for OEM coils.

Had replaced one , then another at $100. each time. So my husband and I decided to replace them all and what a difference. Drives better than since purchase 2 1/2 years ago. The Accel brand made a difference over the factory installed by ford.

Incompatible with 2006 Lincoln Navigator
To fix CEL P0303,4,7,8 Codes I had dealership to replace 4 OEM coils (cylinders 3-4-7-8) with Accel coils and all Motorcraft plugs. Dealership could not use Accel coil on cylinder #8 because of RFI. CEL P0301 was back on and running really rough within 1 week. Replaced cylinders 1-2-5-6 with Accel coils also. With 7 Accel coils and 1 new OEM coil, SUV ran well 1 day. Then CEL P0301,3 , 2 damaged plugs and RFI causing C1963 Stability Control Inhibit Warning code. Save yourself time & trouble and use OEM Motorcraft DG-511 Ignition Coils. SUV is now running smoothly with OEM coils and plugs. I can not comment on Ford/Lincoln Models with 5.4L 3 valve Triton engines, but in my experience Accel coils does not jive well at all with my 2006 Lincoln Navigator.

These were a breeze to install on my 2005 F150. Exact oem replacement. I did not however feel any performance improvement or see better fuel economy. BUT i am very pleased and would choose these again over stock replacements.

I had to send it back. This was for 3 valve. I needed the 4 valve which Advance Auto did not carry. However I found the exact fit part on another site for 75% percent less. Excellent part so far!
