Engineered with optimized low resistance, high turns ratio windings around an M36 high silicone magnetic steel E-core for higher energy and voltage outputs. Results in quicker starts, improved idle quality, and crisper throttle response. Compatible with late model Ford EEC-IV computer controlled ignition system equipped with a TFI distributor. Direct OEM replacement. Can also be used with an ACCEL, Mallory, Crane, Holley or MSD capacitive discharge ignition system. Special high temperature epoxy resists shock and vibration, while increasing thermal conductivity. Brass coil wire contact increases energy efficiency and resists corrosion better than aluminum. High dielectric strength ACCEL Yellow over-molded housing.

good fit, love the yellow color. Nice and solid
Decided to try the Accel products over the standard. The fit was very good , mounting screws lined up perfectly. The coil wire connection wire was also a very good snug fit-installed well. Previous coil had 28,000 miles on it. The Accel coil smoothed out the engine idle and improved performance. Time will tell if this product will continue to be a primary choice, but at the start it has proven to be more efficient than OEM coils I have bought in the past for this automobile. I would recommend this product to other consumers.

good price, works great, problem is the applications that are claimed fits, like a 3l ford ranger, are not accurate, modification is required for the coil to distributor wire to attach properly, easy enough for the experienced but likely frustrating for inexperienced DIY'r.

Adds power over stock
installed in 1993 ford f150 5.0. great fit. Big performance gain after Spark plugs were gapped .01 over stock. did not have a drop in gas milage. Idles nice and smooth too. great part.
