Perfect for 87 Chevy pickup
This woke my 350 up like crazy. Great throttle response and finally made my truck fun to drive again. Installed in minutes, wires clicked right in place and the engine fired up perfectly. Highly recommended and would definitely recommend it for an old school small block Chevy.

This is not an exact fit to your wiring connections
This is not an exact fit for a 1989 5.7 Liter Chevy engine as the website says. This has no wiring connections to connect to the ecm or old coil wires. If you hook the power wire from the old coil to this unit you will get spark. However the fuel injectors now do not work. There is nothing to trigger the fuel system from the ignition system as the system is designed. So you need to hook the tachometer lead from this unit to one of the 4 original wires that connected to the oem ecm. In this case you connect the tach lead to the "Dist Ref Hi" wire (purple) in the original system and the vehicle runs. Whether this works long term who knows. May return.

Lasted 4 years but less than 2000 miles
Distributor lasted me 4 years but I only drove about a 2 thousand miles. I thought it was the module that burnt up, but it is the magnetic pickup that burnt up.

Terrible product
Spent around $150 for this worthless distributor. Coil and module burnt out after less then 200 miles and left me stranded. Advanced Auto was no help either, this happened 94 days after my purchase and they will not replace/credit me because it happened 4 days past warranty. Will not ever use Accel again, considering this same distributor can be bought under a different name for $50 elsewhere!
