This high performance ignition module provides your plugs with more spark over the stock module. The solid state electronics provide high coil out put and superior reliability. The Dwell control circuit ensures, long consistent coil charging. The current control circuit protects against coil over heating. This module fits most Ford Thick Film Ignition systems. 1983 thru 1996.

Check out part number 35369 if you have a 5 speed car. Most catalogs at part stores list the incorrect module for the application.

You must know that you need this part number for the Ford AOD. Put it on my stock 86GT 5.0 and it was fantastic. For the first 25 miles then when it got hot started bucking and stalling limped home and put the Hong Kong one back on.
Ordered another one via local store. Came the next day but had been opened. Tried it anyhow and it was worse than the first one and wouldn't even hold an idle. Took it back. Not happy with Accel now. Advance Auto was really good tho'.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend
Save your money, do not buy this module
This literally lasted maybe 2 hours in the truck, it burnt up and left me sitting in the middle of the road, luckily I saved my old junker module to get the truck back on the road. On a positive note, I do not have to worry about wasting any more money on Accel products!
