## FAQs  
 **HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BORROW A TOOL KIT?**  
The tool kit is free to loan. However, a full deposit is required at the time of checkout. The full deposit is then refunded once the tool kit is returned. 


 **WHAT PAYMENT TYPES CAN I USE FOR THE DEPOSIT?**  
  Loaner tool kits can be purchased online using credit cards or PayPal; in store purchases accept cash, credit, or a check. Payment is refunded using the original purchase form. See our [Returns Page](/o/returns) for more details.


 **HOW LONG CAN I BORROW A TOOL KIT?**  
  You have 45 days to receive a full refund of your deposit. If you keep the kit longer than 45 days, it is viewed as a purchase, and the kit is yours to keep.


 **WHAT IF A TOOL BREAKS WHILE I AM USING IT?**  
  No problem. All tools have a 100% lifetime warranty. If a tool breaks and you return the tool kit within 45 days, you will receive your full refund.


 **ARE THE LOANER TOOLS NEW?**  
 Some tool kits may be new, but most have been used through the Loaner Tool program before. If you want to keep the loaner tool kit and it is in used condition, your local Advance can order you a new one. See store for details.
