I kept trying to upgrade the kids 2005 Grand Am to LEDs. They wouldn't fit. These worked very well and we're an improvement over the old ones. Not harnessing the sun like LEDs but pretty darn good.

Brighter than stock headlights, very easy to install, very quick to install, very smooth in store pick up. This was the first time I have ever had to change my own headlights and it was very easy, the gentleman at the store gave me a couple of tips... use a magnetic screw driver and do not do it at night as the screws are easy to lose.

1 star = not as advertised! "Crisp, white light - the look, feel and attitude of HID" NOPE! They are brighter than a regular halogen, but not even close to an HID look. I also bought 9145 ZXE fogs to match these. So, the H13 are too yellow, and the 9145 are too blue! BOTH are suppose to be 4200 kelvin. I called Sylvania CS, and they told me they could not help me. (I told them my car is a 2006, and I also just installed new headlight/sidelight/fog assemblies.) Then they said my car was old. My lenses were old. They don't put kelvin/lumen on the packaging because they cannot control the actual outputs of the bulbs. So, they could do nothing regarding the bulbs/headlights not being as advertised. Cool, huh.

They are brighter than OEM but lasted just over a year with minimal use. Thinking it was a fluke, I purchased a single replacement only to have the other side croak two weeks later.
