Denso Universal First Time Fit oxygen sensors are constructed of the highest quality materials available. High-quality stainless steel, porous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), fluorine rubber, aluminum oxide, high-grade platinum and ceramics are used in each DENSO sensor. Denso First Time Fit oxygen sensors are coated with a special formulation of aluminum oxide to trap impurities outside of the ceramic element. In head-to-head testing against the leading competitors, DENSO oxygen sensors were rated two times more resistant to silicone and lead poisoning.

The Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor determines the exact temperature of the engine coolant by sending an analog signal to the ECM to censure proper air/fuel ratio along with proper operation of the cooling fan(s) and temperature gauge. The Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor may be located on the cylinder head, engine block, thermostat housing or intake manifold.
