Looked nearly the same as the OEM. I replaced both right and left at the same time. Don't remember which number was which but the right one had a grease fitting and the left did not. Must have been old stock made before it was standard.

Exact replica of OEM control arm. The only problem we ran into was the right-hand rear mounting bolt. If it is installed from the front of the car you will not be able to remove it try for almost 2 hours but the shock tower is in the way. I guess if you remove enough brake lines fuel lines and whatever else is in the way you can get it out. I chose a quicker method, cut a quarter inch off the bolt that was sticking out, then it comes right out. When I put it back together installed bolt from rear to ensure that it will easily be removed.

I have heard moog was a good brand, and was disappointed to find out these control arms don't come with grease zerts. Also the way these were boxed made them not really suitable for shipping without the ball joint stud tearing a large hole in the box and exposing it to potential damage. Although there was some slight damage to the castellated nuts, the ball joints appeared to be in good shape. I was surprised the nuts didn't fall off the ball joints and get lost during shipping.

I bought two Moog upper control arms for a 1999 Mazda B3000 pickup truck. I like that the Moog ball joints on these arms can be greased. That is not true for the original upper ball joints. I am giving these parts 3 stars because of the bolts. When I went to replace the first upper control arm, it came with two identical pinch bolts. I did not know what to make of that, so I imagined that there must be vehicles where two pinch bolts are required. They were in a small sealed plastic bag. When I went to install the second control arm, it came with one bolt, but not the right one. It was in a small sealed plastic bag. The threaded portion of the bolt was too long and the unthreaded portion of the same bolt was too short. The threads would have rubbed on the stem of the ball joint. I was "lucky" that I had an extra bolt (the correct kind) from the box that held the first control arm. So, the quality control of the bolts was poor for each of the two control arms that I bought. I bought a lot of other parts after the control arms. I now open the boxes and inspect the parts before I leave the store. In the attached photo, you will see the new correct bolt at the top. This was the "extra" bolt. The rusty original bolt is the middle bolt of the three bolts. The new incorrect bolt is at bottom of the photo. As for the control arms themselves, they installed just fine.

I was able to do this part in only a few minutes with little experience working on cars. It was not hard to take off but it was tricky to place the ball joint in the knuckle, because it needs to be straight and not crooked. It took me more time to line the ball joint up than the rest of the project. Had it all done in about an hour.

Purchased the Control Arm Front Upper Right online and picked it up at the store location on FM 620 in Austin, TX. Brought the box home and opened it; the part was USED and the nut and bolt was missing. It reminded me the best practice of always checking the auto part before leaving the store to make sure it is the correct one and that you get what you paid for (new, not used).

I replaced both upper control arms on my 99 Ranger because the original were worn out. Both fit perfectly and corrected the slight pull to the right that I had.

I was sent the wrong part then when I returned the part I was give the wrong part not once but twice. It was time consuming and cost gas to go to the store 4 times. Very unsaturated.

This part finally solved my horrible squeaking problem! The ball joints in the OEM lower control arms do not have grease fittings so they get dried out and squeak like hell. Installation is not THAT hard but it takes a lot of steps. Make sure you have several free hours and a good set of mechanics tools, plus a puller for the torsion keys. I was able to get a way with a 2 jaw puller, but it took several tries. Make sure to pull it AFTER you disconnect the front shock, sway bar links, and upper ball joint. At that point it doesn't take nearly as much force to deal with the torsion keys so the 2 jaw puller should be fine.
