This is being listed for 70's Cadillacs. Specifically it was listed for the 79 Eldorado 5.7L FI Gas engine. This part is a NTC (Negative temperature coefficient sensor. The original is PTC (positive). This sensor's function is to tell the ECU when to enrich the fuel for cold start. A NTC would act exactly like a failed sensor at cold start and therefore the car will not start. As well and probably good so people are less likely to try it the thread is 3/8" NPT. The original is 1/4" NPT so this sensor will never fit the original position. This listing should be corrected. Advanced Auto however is not the only site listing this incorrectly.
