In 2005 ford changed the connection for the auto trans line to the radiator. The new fitting was a push/lock type. My 2005 350 super duty, 6.0 liter diesel came with the old 2003, 2004 screw together connection for that line. The different fittings screw into the same size threaded opening on the radiator. Just remove the fittings from the old radiator and transfer them to the new radiato. A 10 minute fix.

Be careful. My 2005 Ford F350 dually 6.0 liter diesel had a 2003, 2004 radiator. The radiator is the same, but the fittings for the transmission lines were different. Easy fix, just transfer the old fittings from the old radiator to the new radiator. An extra 10 minutes of work. You will have the threaded connection rather than the push/lock connection. Everything else is the same. Not a difficult job, at all. Place the new radiator into the truck, and then push the cowling in the place. One person underneath to guide the plastic clips, and one person above to gently tap the last few inches.

Haven't actually towed anything with it yet, but it's sturdy and arrived exactly as pictured. Curt towing/hitches are high quality. The locking hitch pin is kinda cheesy but it's one additional deterrent.

The radiator is fine, looks well built. However the issue I had was that this is listed as an "Exact Fit" for my 2005 Ford Excursion 6.0L Turbo Diesel and is IS NOT. This radiator has threaded fittings for the transmission oil lines. The 2005 and newer trucks use quick disconnect lines for those fittings. As a result this radiator had to be returned because it is not a direct fit. I selected the correct year and truck on the search and listing on the site. As of 5/30/2020, the 2005 was listed as a direct fit.

the core is smaller than the original radiator. the fins that water runs thru to get cool--there are about 10 less of those. the fins are 3/8" apart where the original radiator had fins at 1/4" apart. otherwise the quality looks the same. not used it yet. may return it and pay a higher price for a Ford original part.
