The alternator works and does a good job at charging even an old crummy battery. I used the alternator in my Ford Taurus SHO. I'm not sure if it's the alternator or not but at around 6000rpm the battery light will start to flash or even stay illuminated. Upon dropping below 6000 rpm the light will turn off and everything will be fine. My old alterntor did not cause this issue, at least before it blew. It's not a big deal though because I'm not always driving around at 600rpm engine speeds.

Listed as 135. Now they ask me to review a 140 amp. Well what is it??? Ok it fit good and is working With discount online price was good I ordered at 7:00pm Friday went in Saturday at 11:00 still hadn't been pulled for my order lady said it was a good thing they actually had it in stock. Very sloppy service

It took purchasing, installing 3 different alternators before we finally got one that worked! And the manager at the Seymour TN location was a headache to work with! Not knowledgeable, unable to check one we took back, and was generally mean! My gusband and I ended up working with another location!

I purchased the alternator and it did not resolve my issue. I want to the store and the counter person came out to the truck and tested it. He claimed the part was good and I had a different issue. I took the truck to the dealer and they found the alternator to be defective. The store manager did everything in his power to make it right. However I was out 500.00 The customer relations manager at corporate is a arrogant and very brave man on the phone. I don't think I will be buying parts from this company again. They did refund part of the money I spent at the dealer. They should have refunded all of it.

The alternator looked good. When I spun it I could tell it had good bearings in it. Once getting it installed, it fixed my problems. I just wish I had the option to get a higher amperage one. I have seen some 110, some 130, some 145, and some even 200 amp output alternators for F250 powerstrokes. The listing only gave me the standard choice.
