It is an exact fit! First you have to cut the plug harness off your truck and swap it with the separately ordered #213. Just line it up splice, solder, and your done (with that part). The factory valve is numbered inside of the plug. Match them to their counterpart on the new plug. Next, pay close attention to the factory part you took off. It has the ports marked and identified. Clean it off. Cut all 6 factory leads off the lines. No need to carefully remove the clips. JUST CUT THEM! Finally, put a piece of fuel line hose on the hard plastic lines you just cut (3/8) and use the 12 #6 hose clamps to attach the lines. Last of all. Make sure you have one 5/16 bolt (at least) to hold it to the frame. Exact fit my butt.

Cant' really comment on the product too much yet. Don't know if it works or not as it did not come with any instructions. Going on AC Delco's website you cannot even find this part by their own part #, and when calling Advance, I got a snotty woman telling me that "my mechanic" will know how to hook it up---if I was having a mechanic do the work, I would not have bought the part from Advance; and apparently, I bought the last one at any of the locations, because none of the locations had one in stock that they could check to see if maybe I just got one that was missing instructions. Don't want to take a chance in hooking up the electrics wrong and "frying" the part.

Photo of product shows electrical pigtail as part of package. No such item was shipped with the valve. If you need the electrical connections for this valve, be aware that you will not get them with the valve, as shown in the photo of the product in the product description.

The way this product is put together by the manufacture was completely backwards compared to the stock valve. Mounting bracket was on the wrong side of the valve. And, on a corner not on the side, as it should have been. This valve should mount on the inside of the frame w/2 ports forward and 4 ports back. To mount this one with the existing bracket the 2 ports were facing back while the 4 were facing forward and against the frame. Manufactor should look at a OEM switch before building and selling a replacment part!

Bought this to replace the faulty one on our motor home. The number of gas lines is correct, but the old one only has one wire to it. The part comes with no wiring diagram or instructions and has a lable stating "Read instructions before installing". [...] What's the use being a "do-it-yourself" retailer with recommendations like that?
