This SES Suspension Upgrade fits the rear suspension of a Ford F-450 and F-550 cab chassis truck. Each laser cut piece of steel is precision bent and powder-coated to ensure a quality fit. We have engineered our hollow rubber springs to deliver a progressive spring rate. In other words, the more weight that pushes down on the rubber springs the harder they work to prevent rear end sag. Whether you are pulling a trailer or carrying a heavy load in the bed of your truck, our hollow rubber springs adjust automatically to keep the vehicle level at all times. This SES Suspension Upgrade replaces the jounce stop on the frame. Its unique design ensures superb ride quality ¿ loaded or unloaded. (There should be a 1/2 Inch to 1-1/2 Inch gap between rubber spring and axle to ensure unloaded ride quality.) Unlike other auxiliary spring systems, the SES Suspension Upgrade guarantees the best of both worlds. We recommend Severe Service kits be used with a slide-in camper or salt spreader. In fact, any application that requires maximum stability (reducing roll and sway) calls for a Severe Service upgrade. (Click here for more info on Severe Service recommendations). This kit is rated at 8000 lbs capacity. Even though you are increasing the spring rate by adding this upgrade, this does not increase the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating). Please make sure that the load does not exceed the GVWR set by the manufacturer.

If there are extra items required, such as longer shocks, it is clearly stated in the application description. Torsion bar applications require their own unique approach to leveling the stance of the vehicle. With torsion bar applications, we supply new forged torsion keys that meet or exceed factory specifications. These torsion keys have been re-indexed to increase ride height up to 2in. and level the stance of the vehicle. In select applications, extended shock brackets are also included. Daystar Leveling Kits include only front lift components to level the stance of the vehicle. We also offer Budget Boost kits, which provide a mild increase in ride height and are more economically priced than our Leveling Kits.
