Litens – Serpentine Belt Tensioner: 1 Piece (Part No.999671A)

Serpentine Belt Tensioner: 1 Piece

from

$114.99
Litens was the Original Equipment (O.E.) suppliers of this Honda/Acura tensioner and offers this “O.E. Exact”* part for the aftermarket. This “O.E. Exact”* part for the aftermarket meets all original equipment form, fit, and function specifications. *(O.E. Exact – Original Equipment manufacturers prohibits the use of their part number or logo on parts sold to other customers. Therefore, the Litens aftermarket part may have minor cosmetic differences but still be exact in performance and design). This popular tensioner is designed with 2 heavy duty steel pulleys. The tensioner pulley which functions as a routing pulley comes unattached to the tensioner since it is used to mount the tensioner to the engine block. The existing bolt and dust shield will be re-used during installation. Choosing The Correct Replacement Part: Both the original equipment and Litens aftermarket tensioner use round spring technology and are marked “Made in Canada”. Note: On 11/1/08 Honda issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB # 08-082) on this part advising of a tensioner fit issue requiring trimming of the lower timing belt cover. (VCM variable cylinder management vehicles require P/N 999428a) Litens is the world’s largest supplier of original equipment (O.E.) power transmission products. Dayco – Dayco, Accessory Belt Tensioner (Part No.G6000575413DAY)

Dayco, Accessory Belt Tensioner

from

$94.19
Dayco’s Automatic Belt Tensioner features a patented “flat spring” design that’s engineered to provide less operating range variations in tension. This reduces the risk of premature accessory bearing failure due to high tension when a new belt is installed. It also lessens the risk of belt squeal and slippage, or poor accessory performance caused by low tension after the belt begins to stretch and wear. A Teflon strip wound within the spring resists abrasion. The flat spring itself is coated to resist rust.

Product Features:
  • Heavy-duty cast aluminum spring case resists cracking and fatigue
  • Steel locator pin and pivot tube (where the application demands)
  • Heavy-duty cast aluminum arm offers additional strength and less distortion
  • Thermoplastic rubber “spring slot plug” keeps out harmful contaminants
  • Zinc coated mounting bolt (where included) resists rust, and is concentric for a more even degree of constant tension
