1984 Ford Thunderbird Ignition Coils

Top off your GM ignition system with these great new replacement coils. The GM coils have MSD performance in factory style housings. MSD designed these coils by combining our blaster coil experience with e-core coil efficiency. Each coil has a unique turns ratio plus there is lower primary resistance than the stock coil. This all amounts to a bolt-in replacement coil that produces more output voltage. The coils will work with stock ignition systems as well as MSD equipped cars and trucks. For points application the supplied 0.85 ohm ballast resistor must be used in conjunction with the vehicle original ballast resistor, if so equipped. This advanced coil has a primary resistance of 1.4 ohms with an output of 42,000 volts. Internally, each Edelbrock Coil features heavy-duty primary and secondary windings for higher energy and greater spark that can help to provide quicker starts with improved idle quality.
