We start off with a heavy duty steel base with a hardened steel gate plate, a reverse lockout feature that only requires one hand to operate, and complies with NHRA/IHRA safety rules. Then add the billet aluminum shift handle with classic white shift knob, lightweight aluminum trigger and finish it off with a brushed aluminum cover with quick release pins, and you end up with one good looking bullet-proof race shifter. Optional Forward and Reverse shift pattern gate plates are available for most popular 2, 3 and 4-speed transmissions. This model Pro Stick comes out of the box ready for action for most popular 3-speed transmissions, includes a 5-foot Super Duty shift cable, brackets, levers, hardware and detailed instructions for an easy installation. Mr. Gasket High Performance Thermostats are designed to resist large variations of coolant pressure at high RPM (revolutions per minute). This allows them to fully open at correct temperature consistently regardless of engine RPM. The design also provides the high flow that engines operated a higher RPM need. This thermostat also features a copper/brass construction to further resist corrosion. The throttle cable bracket is designed for small block Chevy engines thru 1979 and is to be used in conjunction with the kick down cable Pn9886 for the Turbo 350 transmission.
