I purchased my first one at the beginning of my build when I didn't do my research, didn't use any sealant. So they leaked immediately. I bought a second set, used RTV sealant and no leaks.

Well-made, solid materials and construction. Wire leads are adequate length for wiring in and placement of unit though 6" more inches would have been nice. As to placement and wiring, consult the web forums related to the vehicle being installed for guidance. I found it to be a wealth of information and made things much easier as detailed out color coding of wiring and location of where to find and best place to install. The product requires little if any mechanical aptitude to install, only the ability to follow directions and simple tools.

Ended up returning, as this same kit came with the universal Imperial power steering cooler for an 05 Chevrolet Silverado. So I did use the kit, just came with the new cooler. Worked great and made for simple mounting. Basically just a few zip tie type things that go through the condenser and p/s cooler fins..zips in and holds firm! Good thing as one of the Original p/s cooler mounting bolts were rusted and snapped. Beats drilling and tapping.

The power steering cooler I bought came with a couple of these (three, I think) but I'm glad I spent the few bucks extra for these. I encountered a minor snafu positioning the cooler unit. These allowed me to just snip off the ones that came with the unit and just pop in a few new ones. So easy, even I managed, with my wife standing by giving me step by step directions without which I couln't have finished (note; she made me say that. Tain't really the way it was. but, hey.........)

Black is the key word on this 1979 Corvette. I've found every performance part imaginable ready to go in black I'm going with a Demon carburetor with the black air filter assembly kit. Under the hood to be diffident, I've gone all black. The outside paint and body are black. The interior is oyster. I've installed a double deck Kenwood system. Customized the glove box while ensuring no damage to the integrity of the glove box for original replacement with no issues. Dash speakers replaced with kenwood. The floor speakers replaced with 5in. kenwwod. Two 12in. Kenwood subs. The glove box den and custom sub box are made from palmpa(check spelling) a Brazilian hardwood with dark stain in lays. She's now bad, fast, and loud!

Would highly recommend this to a friend. Was very very easy to install and added a very good look to the engine. I used this on my 1976 ford f-100 with 360 big block. The old air cleaner assembly really restricted air flow and rusted through in several places. This product really allows for more air flow and cleaner intake. Plan to buy a K&N filter from my local advance next to add more style and better performance. really wish it would have came with o-ring for the carburetor flange. Been a real pain to find one to fit.
