Bolted right in. 2000 miles so far no issues. I'd recommend you purchase a new drive axle bolt if you're installing in a VW as the bolts are 1 time use. Better yet replace drive axle at same time to save you the hassle of changing it later

What can I say, it didn't last 100 miles even! Sometimes buying things that say made in China doesn't instill confidence especially when it comes to buying key parts of a vehicle. Rolled the dice and ended up with a paper weights

These bearings are not the easiest to replace. It is important how the bearing is supported when pressing in the hub and tightening the cv shaft nut to the proper torque or it will not last. I have tried all the cheaper bearings. This is the only one that lasts on the front of my VW Jetta.

[...]. 2 are needed if you do both front bearings. Needed to have an auto machine shop press into and out of the hub for about $50. Saved about $150 instead of replacing whole pre-assembled hub assembly.

I like that this comes with the wheel bearing loaded into the knuckle assembly and a shield for the rotor. But some other things you might need when purchasing this are a new ball joint and an ABS speed sensor. my old ABS sensor was never going to come out of the other knuckle, and after removing the old ball joint, it did not look like it could be used again on the new knuckle assembly. Even with those extra new pieces, it is still cheaper than getting a new bearing and taking it to the mechanic to install because it is labor intensive.
