      I installed the dang thing in my 2011 Chevy Malibu, but trust me it wasn't easy. Things to note: 1) the design of the blower motor does not allow you to reinstall the casing from the old blower motor. 2) the design of this blower motor will not allow the hush plate to be reinstalled all the way. It will not fit into the cut outs of the hush plate as the factor blower motor did. 3) you don't need the casing from the old motor to install this or the brackets that come with some blower motors out there. There are 5 holes for the screws on the plastic. Plate or bracket around the motor so you can install it and it comes with the screws. 4) it's a bit hard to install this because you need to hold the motor up while screwing the thing in place all while contouring your body in an awkward position to be able to reach the screws. I got frustrated and end up wedging the handle of hammer on the bottom of the blower motor to hold it in place while I screwed it in place. Once that was all done I tested it and works so far, but I still need to assess if this blower motor is noisier than the old one. All in all I wouldn't buy this again because the hush panel cannot go back on as intended and this should not be listed as an exact match for a 2011 Chevy Malibu for that reason.
