The Mallory Promaster Classic series ignition coil is designed to meet today’s specialized ignition requirements. This coil features a faster rise time and increased spark duration (compared to stock) to increase performance. It has a glass-filled polyester case and oil-filled construction to ensure a long life and no energy loss from arcing. Routing spark plug wires is an art form. It takes patience and time to route your wires away from the headers, through separators and to the distributor cap. Some wire sets fit perfect, but a lot of people want to build their own so they can route them exactly how they see fit.

ACCEL’s SuperStock 4000 series spark plug wire sets are designed to upgrade an OE ignition system for high-spark delivery levels for street driven applications. The 450 degree F rated silicone jacket is extruded over a tightly woven, rugged fiberglass braid. The braid is applied over high dielectric strength EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) inner insulation for ignition wire performance that exceeds SAE specifications.

Most modern electronic ignition systems require suppression style wires to preserve sensitive components. Flame-Thrower 8mm Custom fit MAGx2 wires provide enhanced RFI suppression and dual current paths for more power delivered to the spark plug. Our custom wire sets have factory terminated ends for a superior connection and perfect fit, without cutting, crimping and splicing.

“Engineered from the inside out, the 8.5 offers everything you have ever wanted in a wire, incredibly low resistance without electronic interference. In a single 12 inch length of Super Conductor Wire there is only 40 – 50 ohms of resistance. That is the lowest resistance of any helically wound wire. To accomplish this, we use a copper alloy conductor due to it’s great voltage carrying capabilities. The low resistance results in less loss in spark energy so more reaches the spark plug. The conductor is wound extremely tight around a special center core. So tight in fact, that there is over 40 feet of conductor wrapped into a single foot of plug wire. This winding procedure, combined with a ferro-magnetic impregnated center core, produces an extremely effective Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) “”choke””. This choke, or suppression capability, keeps the EMI inside the wire where it cannot interfere with other electronics on your vehicle. A proprietary blend of silicone and synthetic material produce a sleeve that is highly resistant to high heat as well as abrasion and tears. As the name implies, the terminals feature two crimps, one for the sleeve of the wire and another separate crimp to grasp the conductor. The traditional ACCEL combination of yellow wire and red spark plug boots has been added to these SuperStock Spiral Core 5000 Series wire sets, which feature color-matched wire and spark plug boots in blue, black, and red.
