Failed after 22 months. Was causing my 2000 Toyota Camry 2.2 to hesitate and stall once it was up to operating temperature.

I didn't read the temperature properly when the coolant was cold and therefore the computer didn't out put enough fuel to immediately start the engine, this caused start up hesitation, upon warm up of coolant, it functioned as it should have. This issue was resolved using a used OEM coolant temperature sensor from the junkyard...

This product didn't fix the issue I was having. When I took it to a mechanic, they informed me that this sensor didn't provide accurate data and instead only reported one constant temperature. I used this for my 1st Gen Scion Xb and the install took less than 10 minutes however I would opt for a higher quality product than this.

Ended up not needing this, but I can't return it because it is an electrical item. On the bright side, it came in the super fine cardboard box and is the right fit for my car.

This is listed as exact fit for the 5.7 Tundra, mine is 2008. Note that this does screw into the water housing, but the plug is NOT the same. While it is close, the 2 little tabs on the side of the sensor plug are about 2mm higher than the receiving plug on the engine harness, so it will not plug in.
