Mahle – Intake Valve (Part No.A4060208141MAH)

Intake Valve

from

$19.54
MAHLE manufactures intake and exhaust valves in forged and hot-extruded versions in a multitude of materials for gasoline and diesel engines of every size. Depending on the stresses they are subjected to, the valves are reinforced around the seat, hardened, nitrided, or chrome-plated. Sodium-filled hollow valves can be used for extremely high thermal and mechanical loads. Since stresses on the components continue to rise in modern engines, MAHLE is focusing on the ongoing development of cooled valves.

Product Features:
  • OE Quality
  • Optimized for strength
  • Heat and corrosion resistant
  • Chromium plated or nitrided
  • Stem optimized to resist wear

TRW – TRW Intake Valve (Part No.A4060245001TRW)

TRW Intake Valve

from

$18.79
TRW Engine Components is a recognized developer of valves and valve train components. A wide range of materials and material combinations are used to meet the engineering requirements in the different engine applications. Materials vary from ferritic martensitic steels (intake valves) and austentic CrMn based steels to extreme heat and corrosion resistant Nickel base super alloy for exhaust valves. To improve wear and corrosion resistance, valves can be chromium plated or nitrided. These coatings are used to improve the compatibility of the valve stem surface to the valve guide material. If necessary, exhaust valves (and in some cases also intake valves) can be hard-faced. In hard-facing, a more heat and wear resistant material is welded to form the valve seat. Seat hard-facing extends the valve life significantly.
