My jeep was idling erratically, it would jump from 1,000 up to 2, 000 and back and forth sometimes in the middle, never steady (making it dangerous to drive especially for the kids). Purchased this on-line after cleaning the throttle body which didn't solve the issue. Advance Auto Parts had an on-line coupon which saved me 25% and they delivered it the same day free of charge. Installation was challenging due to the harness being difficult to remove and the bottom 20 torx bottom bolt's location. After install I started the jeep and it made an immediate impact (I read that something you have to recycle the computer so it learns of the new part, I did not have to do that). The jeep is now running flawlessly at 600 RPMs. I would recommend this product to anyone with a jeep TJ having idling issues.

Did not correct the problem but was a car quest part not advanced auto, going to try to find issue the air idle sensor was the only code could been a bad part to be continued.

The Idle Air Control valve is an electronic device used by the engine control module (ECM) to control engine idle speed. The control valve will be mounted in the throttle body on the engine and allows air to bypass the throttle plate during a closed throttle condition.
