The heating-ventilation-air-condition (HVAC) blower motor resistor is designed to control the speed of the interior blower motor. Older applications of this device consisted of 2-3 voltage resistor devices on a board while newer vehicle applications the device contains integrated circuitry and a heat sink to control the speed of the interior blower motor.
