    I went with Advanced Auto (vs. AutoZone) for the Online order which included $25.credit offer on my over $200. purchase. Lost that when I had to exchange product at store and NO WAY to use my Paypal in store vs.online. Should be able to do exchanges on same creditcard. Followed input info to order online but still got wrong product. Wasted mechanic's time doing exchange. Messed up my day twice. I do have to say the store clerk was very helpful & very fast with multiple crazy customers.

    Advanced Auto service was second to none. However, the "Walker" catalytic converter looked like it was assembled and welded in a garage. It did not resemble the picture, same dimensions but the quality of the component was questionable. It works, but I was surprised at how it was welded together and had the heat shield welded on. The original (removed) had bolts for the heat shield. It works, ultimately that is the point.

    Bottom Line recommended

    I purchased this converter for my 97 Toyota t-100 because it was less expensive than the OEM. The fit was fine. The 02 sensor was farther down the line and did not affect the install. The sound is very loud. Too loud for me. It is so loud, I had to check for an exhaust leak. No leaks, and very noisy. Also the 02 sensor/engine light came back on within a few hours.

    I suppose this is a good value if you just need a simple converter with no oxygen sensor to worry about. I had to return it because my Jeep uses an oxygen sensor that screws directly into the converter. This unit has no such port. I was told by the mfg. that I would have to cut into the exhaust pipe and weld in an O2 port. That's above my pay grade. So I found a direct fit unit with the port already installed.

    Bottom Line not recommended
