    If you are not a mechanic and just replacing your struts, make sure you will install this unit correctly. The correct way is exactly opposite than it intuitively feels. Look on the pictures closely to see proper orientation. It is hard to compress when install with KYB GR-2/EXCEL-G(#341257)-front and "impossible" with KYB GR-2/Excel-G (#341258)-rear.

    Just spend the extra $10-13 per strut for this kit. You may think it's a lot to pay for what you get, but you'll be glad to have the new sleeve. It will probably be frozen to you old strut and it's not worth the aggrivation.

    this is 2 washers, 1 cheap metal spacer, and 2 rubber bushings. Was, I think, 12.99 but I had a coupon. These used to be included with shocks years ago. You don't want to go back in and mess with it later because you have to compress the spring which is somewhat dangerous. Do it once and do forget about it.
