The Edelbrock No. 22716 Max-Fire Ultra-Spark 50 Performance’s Spark plug wires are manufactured from highest quality materials to help deliver maximum voltage ensuring the ultimate performance. These wires have an extremely high EMI/RFI suppression along with a very low resistance to help deliver the most spark possible. They feature a heavy duty 8.5mm diameter silicone jacket to protect the Kevlar spiral wound core from heat, moisture and chemicals. They are engineered for high performance engines that need all of the voltage they can get for maximum power output. Made with wire leads that deliver a low 40 ohms of resistance per-foot for maximum EMI/RFI noise suppression. Spark plug boots are glued to NGK cable with a silicone sealer for a watertight seal. Stainless steel terminals utilizing up to 3 serrated crimps bite into cable jacket and inner insulation for the highest terminal retention strength (wherever possible). Locking C-shaped spring clip with corrosion-resistant plating ensures a secure and positive spark plug terminal connection.

The Direct Ignition Coil Boot is a direct replacement for the original equipment ignition coil boot. Common service practice suggests the coil boots should be replaced during normal spark plug replacement intervals or whenever the boot has been damaged due to electrical arch-over.

ACCEL now offers the cure for burnt spark plug boots with Extreme 9000 Ceramic wire kits. The 8mm Ferro-Spiral core wire now has ceramic boots on the spark plug end of the wires. Ceramic boots withstand up to 2,000 degrees. Great for running headers with close tolerances, an engine bay with little room, or an RV with boots that melt because of heat.
