Installed this radiator on a '82 C20. The radiator sits about 1.5" too high for my truck. I had to notch a bit of the aluminum on the radiator, notch the radiator brackets, and remove the urethane mounts and replace with pieces of flat rubber. I expected to make it fit. The unacceptable part is that the radiator does not come with a regular petcock. There is a brass plug installed. I bought a traditional petcock, but I could not remove the plug. It's seized in there. Whoever installed it screwed it too tight, used lock tight or messed the threads up. I did not want to risk cracking the plastic side of the radiator. So I will have to remove the lower hose in order to drain the system in the future.

Works, truck runs 180°, no leaks. Cools just fine, but core is way thicker than the original in my 90 suburban. The one advance sells that is of the same thickness as mine is only a one row. My original was a 3 row. A one row with my ac running in the florida summer is never going to keep my truck cool enough, so had to get this one. Heavy modifications made to upper core support mounts and the shroud to make it fit. Width and height were the same though.

Q&A as well as Advance's manufacturer documentation claims that this is Copper and Brass. Ordered this only to find it is Aluminum and Plastic. Not what I want for a Classic Vehicle especially after my son's plastic tank catastrophically failed with a foot long split in a plastic tank. Ordered a different brand from a competitor, it looked exactly the same. Tried fitting the 'other' into my '68 GTO but didn't fit right. Eventually determined that the tanks are not installed squarely on the core, thus placing the top 1/4" in the wrong location. The exposed Core area is a parallelogram, Not a rectangle. Gave Advance a 2nd chance. Took my square with me this time and found Advance radiator also not square. This would work if required but only by shaving and shimming the radiator mounting pads. Instead, I went ahead and soldered a couple small cracks in my Metal tanks.

While it does work, if you read the Q&A section it says "This Ready-Rad Radiator - part# 433348 has a copper brass construction and the color of the tank and core is black. The tank material is metal." It's actually plastic and aluminim and the core is silver. I'm restoring an old car and this isn't what I was looking for.

Bought for 1967 Olds 442 with auto trans. The radiator hoses fit ok, the trans cooling lines fit ok. Has a port near radiator cap for a temp sensor. Also looks like a port for trans cooler temp. It only has two core tubes but the tubes are twice as wide as the OEM so I guess it would compare to a four core. The end tanks are made of plastic like newer style OEM radiators. The bad part about the radiator is the OEM cradles at the top and bottom had to be pounded flat so it would fit and it was still very tight. If your looking for a drop in radiator with no modifications then this is not for you.

Inlet was 1.5" instead of 1.75" it is made to fit all GM models but doesn't fit anyone correctly. U.S. Radiators is were I ended up buying my last one and they are custom made with all your factory specifications required (4 speed, Air, Etc...)
