Bought for my 2002 ford taurus ses my old one was clogged now heat is excellent works great love it
Bottom Line recommended
Item was exactly as described and came with the insulation foam-tape needed for the repair (many cores do not come with this). That saved me an extra trip to the store to find camper/rv tape. Removal of the dash on my 98 Ford Taurus was straightforward, removal of the two hoses connecting the heater core was very difficult. It is worth buying a clamp removal tool to save the headache (image attached). ***BE VERY CAREFUL removing the blend-door actuator arm to remove the heater core! There are 2 plastic tabs that hold the metal bar in place. I broke both of them even though I knew to be careful. They don't manufacture them anymore and I had no time to go to junk yards and dig for them. I wound up using Steel Putty epoxy and some spring steel wire pieces to rig a permanent replacement.***
Installed on a 08 Ford Taurus I think - so far doing well
