    I hate the exaggeration in advertising, but the commercials for these bulbs are no bull. I lost my confidence in driving at night, especially if I was out of town with unlit roads. Now I can see curves in the road before I reach them, restoring my confidence and giving me back my night driving! I've recommended these bulbs to several friends and they've all thanked me.

    From what I hear you're not supposed to actually touch the bulb as the grease from your fingers can shorten the lifespan. Old wives tail or truth? I don't know but I wore latex gloves while installing these and one burned out after only 5 months. I won't be spending extra money for fancy bulbs anymore. The light output and color was negligible from regular bulbs anyway. The cheapo bulbs have always worked for me for decades.

    These have the exact same projection and spread as the original 12V/55Ws in my 2000 Volvo V70 wagon, which is to say, pretty worthless. I will give the LEDs a shot...2x the price but worth it if they are actually brighter than stock.
