The EGR system is an emission control device designed to recirculate exhaust gas into the engines air intake system and back to the combustion chamber to control nitrogen oxides or NOx. The electronic universal fuel tank selector is a two-way valve designed to direct fuel from a single tank when commanded, on a dual fuel tank vehicle application. With aid from an electrical switch located inside the vehicle cabin, the vehicle operator can select one of two fuel tanks to provide fuel to the vehicle’s engine. When electrically connected correctly, the selector valve will also provide the fuel level sender signal from each fuel tank onto the instrument cluster fuel gauge.
