Fixed my issue with a P0401 code. Unplug EGR vacuum. Attach a vacuum pump or like me I used an extra hose to the EGR and sucked on it creating a vacuum. At idle the motor will quit. You know the EGR and passages are good then. No quit the EGR is bad or passages clogged. Next DPFE, this sensor, you need to check return signal to the ECM. It has to be plugged in and vehicle at idle. I used a back probe pin on the connector. It should be 3 wire. The middle wire is ground. One outside wire is 5v feed from the computer. The other outside wire is the one you need to read. Specs on a Ford are 0.8-1.2v. Anything else replace the sensor. Good replacement. Replace feedback hoses too.
Exact fit, performs as well as stock part that I replaced.
Easy to replace, took about 15 minutes and it resolved my check engine light that has been on and off for the past 3 years.
