Installed this thermostat in my 1991 F350 7.3 Diesel. Notice that this thermostat had 4 holes in the back as compared to the 3 in the Motorcraft one it replaced. Looks like the Car Quest one should flow more water through it. I had intermittent over heating problems with the existing thermostat. This thermostat solved my over heating issue and actually ran cooler than the one removed.

Please dont waste your time with motorad! I have installed 2 of these thermostats in the last 3 months. Second one just failed obviously while still under warranty. Such a bad product that I won't even making a claim. Waste of money and, even worse, time. I will be smashing with a hammer and telling everyone I can to stay away!
